Optimalisasi Peran Digitalisasi Masyarakat Melalui Nusantara Smart Village Di Desa Wanasabah kidul Kecamatan Talun Kabupaten Cirebon

Abstract

This study aims to examine the optimization of community digitalization roles through the
implementation of Nusantara Smart Village in Wanasabah kidul Village, Talun District,
Cirebon Regency. With the rapid development of technology, digitalization has become key
to enhancing the quality of life in rural areas. This research employs a qualitative approach,
utilizing observation and interviews with village residents and relevant stakeholders. The
findings indicate that the application of the smart village concept significantly improves
access to information, enhances public service systems, and facilitates community
participation in decision-making processes. Additionally, digitalization contributes to local
economic growth by enabling the use of digital platforms for marketing local products.
However, challenges such as low digital literacy and inadequate infrastructure still need to
be addressed. Therefore, training programs and infrastructure improvements are necessary
to support the sustainability of these initiatives. This study aims to provide recommendations
for policy development and strategies to optimize the role of digitalization in other villages
across Indonesia.
